Biography
Robert Schimmel was an acclaimed American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer best known for his raw, explicit "blue" comedy and frequent appearances on The Howard Stern Show and HBO. He was widely respected as a "comic's comic" for his unfiltered transparency, often turning his severe real-life hardshipsâincluding battle with cancerâinto comedy routines. Tragically, Schimmel passed away at the age of 60 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
