Biography
Minh ChĂąu (born 1956 in Thai Nguyen province), full name Nguyá» n Thá» Minh ChĂąu, is a Vietnamese actress. She is one of the few Vietnamese artists to be honored with two Golden Lotus Awards. She was famous in the late 80s for her two roles as Nguyá»t in the film "Girl on the River" (CĂŽ gĂĄi trĂȘn sĂŽng) in 1987 and LiĂȘn in the movie "Woman playing in the Sand" (NgÆ°á»i ÄĂ n bĂ nghá»ch cĂĄt) in 1989. In addition, Minh ChĂąu also won a Golden Kite Award for Best Actress for her role of ThÆ°á»ng in the 2010 film "Provincial Party Secretary" (BĂ thÆ° tá»nh ủy). She was awarded the title of People's Artist in 2015.
