Synopsis
At 24, ZAI (Zahira) is already rethinking her entire life after surviving a near death car wreck. She makes a brash and sudden decision to travel home after almost a 3-year absence and compels LU (Lungile) her secret girlfriend of 2 years to put her life on hold to accompany her. Lu is apprehensive, but finally and out of a sense of desperation to finally have a normal relationship, agrees. They embark on a 2-day journey across the expansive South African vistas learning more about each other, imagining the happy endings and debating the possible outcomes of coming out to Zaiās conservative and Muslim family. They arrive but things donāt go according to plan.
