Synopsis
Roos travels alone to CuraƧao to distance herself from her life in the Netherlands ā and from her fiancĆ© Roel, with whom she no longer feels a connection. While those around her believe theyāre the perfect couple, deep down Roos knows itās over. On the island, she meets Stijn, a defense worker, with whom she shares an intense connection. But Roos hides her background and invents a new story about who she is. As the island pulls her further away from home, the truth threatens to catch up with her.
