Synopsis
Theater director Lin Su recruits Nan Xi, a recent college graduate and first-time actress, to play a suicidal young woman in his latest production. As the two commit more deeply to the work, each finds themself caught between the mounting tensions of their real lives and the complexity of the character. Lin Su confronts the love left over from a past relationship, while Nan Xi navigates memories of a troubled childhood, family pressure, and a love she has no answer for. Reality and performance blur, leaving them both to reflect on their relationship to art, to the stage, and to the world.
